Pros
-Decent pay -Snacks in office -No work on weekends -Salary+Commission job
Cons
I used to love working here and was so excited to sell all the software I learned about and loved the people I worked with. My feelings became the exact opposite after the Corona pandemic. After COVID-19, the company started doing bad and they started firing people from different depts to cut costs. I worked a deal and the CEO took the deal away from me and made sure I wasn't paid a commission because of administrative errors. There was a microscope put over everyone and they started listening in on calls and increasing the hours we work. I was disrespected by management and had multiple issues that needed to be brought to hr and I was told that hr would basically not care about these issues and tell me the same thing management told me. We have weekly meetings every week where they show us the rankings of all the account managers and basically they make "financial decisions" to get rid of the lower ranking account managers. It's literally like the hunger games and you're always left feeling like you have no job security. This company will tell you that they value you but really you're just as good as the deals you bring in and the administrative items you enter in the system. The CEO also comes in the office weekly and yells at people using profanity and looks for people to fire. This company is owned by investors and is looking to go public so this company tries to work you til the last day of the quarter to get whatever sale in that they can so don't expect to get PTO.The company also messes around with numbers on deals they win/lose and emails sent out for those wins to appease the CEO and so management doesn't lose their jobs. All the disapprovals you see for the CEO is correct, he doesn't care about his employees and will do anything to get another dollar in his wallet. My experience here has been Kafkaesque to say the least. I never worked for a company so corporate that will literally leave you on the brim of tears almost every other week because you don't know what's going to happen. I also don't see how you can make money as an account rep when they pay you such a low percentage on the overall value of your deals and when you have to hit specific percentages to reach those spiffs.
