Pros

Good discount if you like the product. Casual dress code in corporate office. Work/Life balance when it comes down to it they give 5 weeks vacation during the year.

Cons

They spend wastefully on out of office meetings and parties. And then to compensate their overspending they lay off people who care about the company and keep it running well so that the upper management can continue to receive bonuses and yearly raises. I do not want to say it but have seen it so many times there.

Pros

Awesome discount. Once a month you get to choose a “wear to work” item where you literally look at a 3 month catalogue and choose 1 item which you then pay for just tax. Every month you also get 75% off on 2-3 clothing items for yourself, 50% off at all times, 40% off stationary/kitchenware and 30% off sale items. Also, each month we have “appreciation” where all get an addition 10% off the normal discounts so clothes are 60% off instead of 50% off, and sales are 40% off instead of 30% off, etc. Store events are super fun. Tends to have lots of delicious snacks although hygiene is always in question as the set up and clean up of it doesn’t always include ... washing of hands. Fun environment to work in when there’s tons of guests in the store from big sales / holiday season. - AM managers are extremely good at their jobs. Always communicative and ready to coach you on how to better yourself. Always ready to help. Both are truly knowledgable and genuine. You can always count on one of them to give you an effective/useful task to do while bored on the floor.

Cons

- Manager. Never there it feels but acts as though she knows everything because of the notes she receives from her sub managers. Tends to repeat what she’s telling you about 3-4x in different ways and make you feel as though you’re slow. Doesn’t offer employees much of a voice (unless you quickly interject) when you’re both having a “sit down”. - Sub Managers (aka “senior muse”) can be extremely clique-y and don’t take well to many questions. They often get annoyed or say they “don’t know” something if you try to ask them a question relevant to the store. They also tend to micromanage you about talking while on the sales floor but if you pay attention, you can catch them standing in the 3rd room chatting about their weekend and boyfriends. They won’t micromanage you and let you roam back and forth in the store if they favor you. Typically if you’re not one of their favorite muses or senior muses to talk to they’ll send you to the very front of the 5 room store all day to stand and do minuscule things and of course “no talking” to any of your fellow muses but customers who walk in (even during the slowest of days. Very passive aggressive people who communicate with harsh criticism and judgment without any positive coaching or signs of empathy. One last thing, for every little thing that you do wrong, they’ll note you down for it to give to the main manager. Overall limited my personal ability to take initiative to do anything in fear of getting lectured or talked down on. - Clientele. Super unrealistic. You’re bound to get a lecture if you don’t send out a written letter for every guest you rang up consistently and capturing them in the system. While I understand the importance, it’s not necessary 24/7. - Sales. Although we are “team sellers”, it’s often that there’s one or two muses who make it a pattern to steal sales. Be careful of allowing others (aside from managers) to ring up your sale. Unfortunately no matter how many reports there are, no real action or punishment is given to those who stole a $1000 sale even though another muse worked hard to make it.

Pros

Store atmosphere is beautiful and the wardrobe discount is phenomenal.

Cons

Be prepared for very strict policies and procedures. You will be judged on everything. Is your outfit and hair cute enough? Do you cash people out fast enough?
