Pros
Consistent 40 hours (sometimes more if approved), decent benefits (a little on the pricey side of things), management really tries to work with you on work-home life problems that arise. I’ve been with the company a little over a year and my experience has overall been very good with the company.
Cons
Having to wait a year for a week of PTO time and not offering any sick time really is a huge drawback. The shop I work in has experienced a great deal of turnover including changes in management that’s left it in disarray. There doesn’t seem to be a lot of growth potential within the company and they could pay the employees a bit better. Management at our location seems to constantly implement (or try to) new policies and never really adheres to them, as well as members of management themselves not adhering to it. Budget cuts came in from corporate and eventually management was directing the technicians to cut corners in their work and do whatever they could to speed up production time.
