Pros

Good pay, good benefits, great company growth as Ken's products dominates the salad dressing and bbq sauce market. They keep up with the latest technology and continue to upgrade and improve production equipment. Everything under the roof is "state of the art" equipment. As a Technician, Mechanic, or Operator, you can learn alot and continue to build your job and tech skills. All up to you.

Cons

Very high stress environment. Too much overtime and you are expected to work overtime at the drop of a hat, weekends and holidays. Managers are very very pushy and holler and scream at the employees, which makes it a very stressful environment. Some managers should have been fired years ago for their poor conduct and offensive, abusive, combative conduct and language. I witnessed several times certain managers being sent home for being disrespectful to employees, contractors, and upper management. I could not understand how they were never fired except they were part of the company since the place was built, and part of the "good ol boy" club. I worked there in maintenance for almost 9years and I had to find an other oppty to move on and get away from these terrible managers and people. I really felt that I was near my "limit" and soon I would be heading to jail for assaulting one of these "bully" managers of mine. The turnover rate in the maintenance department was above average. The only reason I stayed there for so long is because the plant was only 10mins from my home. This plant hires Machine Operators who are very unskilled, so the Maint. dept has to "camp Out" on the production lines and run equip and make adjustments all shift long to keep the lines running for them. Company does not teach or allow Operators to truly run equipment, but has Maintenance babysit them and do most of the operation. I am so glad I left this company and have no regrets in my decision to this day!

Pros

Rapidly growing company, the owner is constantly investing in new equipment and adding to capacity

Cons

Very stressful environment, management talks about safety and quality but at the end of the day case count is king. Workforce is more unhappy than I have ever seen before.
