Not worth it

Pros

New office space, great brands.

Cons

Employee's expertise is always undervalued and overruled by upper management and people who have zero experience in your field. There is an excessive amount of work and zero work life balance. Of course working for a "startup" there will be days when you'll have to work until 8pm (or later), not because of your lack in organization or responsibility, but because you'll received late projects at 4:59p from people/teams who clock out at 5pm. Every project is an emergency, 911, last-minute fire drill, and a threat if you cannot complete the project on time. With consistency, this type of atmosphere would leave anyone stressed out, no matter who your boss is. Project managers and directors say yes to every project despite the lack of organization from marketing teams. You are never acknowledged for the long hours and work you put into bringing marketing's last minute projects to life. Despite keeping a positive head on your shoulders, playing your cards right doesn't always leave room for opportunity. There is no room to excel. If you are not in a managerial position, you are replaceable.

10 Hour Work days in the office are normal...

Pros

Great Brands, a handful of awesome co-workers. Base + Bonus good, but if you consider all the hours you put in the job, you're better off working at Mc Donalds.

Cons

In addition to 10 hour days in the office, you'll be spending more hours at home trying to catch up on emails. Not a great company if you have kids. Highly inefficient company. 8-10 meetings a day. Instead of working smarter, you'll be spinning your head in circles. All departments have silos and instead of helping each other,it can get confrontational. Management is very wishie washie.
