Pros
Excellent training program, great resources, great benefits, decent pay, good growth potential, healthy/ethical/fair/professional environment. Job is more of a hands-on applications consultant position than your typical sales job, lots of interesting industrial problem-solving projects, and most of your clients are technically-inclined enough to stimulate highly technical discussions. Engineering skills are not completely required, but definitely a huge plus.
Cons
Still a sales job no matter how you cut it, so somewhat commision-based. Turnover is high when economy is good, or very bad, but they have a point system where you'll get paid fairly as long as you put in your hours. Fair amount of cold-calling. Training period is not as organized as it should be. Has potential for long hours.
