Dysfunctional and lacks vision

Pros

I would not recommend for anyone. Huge management team and terrible company culture. Run from this opportunity there's no need to waste your time.

Cons

No job security. Highly qualified employees are leaving the company. They clam that the company is growing, but it is not true. They hire more managers and fire employees - who would do it in a truly growing company.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We're sorry to hear that your experience isn't meeting your expectations. We've had a lot of growth over the last year, including growing our management team to make sure our teams have the coaching and support they need to be successful. With that growth we've also focused on company culture, adding a monthly All-Hands meeting to improve communication and celebrate successes, implemented a more generous PTO policy, improved our benefits, and created a peer-nominated Core Values Award to recognize and appreciate our employees. If you have specific concerns you would like to address I encourage you to reach out to me directly to discuss: Kbyers@kindersystems.com. Thanks, Kate Byers VP of People

Pros

This is a great job if you do not expect anything from your employer. The work is very basic and involves interaction with a wide variety of users.

Cons

Not a team atmosphere, do not expect to be noticed for doing an outstanding job.

Our support team has to interact with a wide variety of users. Some are very computer "unliterate" and need patience. This is the nature of technical support. Our support staff often is promoted up into other opportunities in the company, including sales/marketing, project management, general management, documentation, and - if qualified - engineering. There are many opportunities in this company beyond the "basic entry level" positions and motivated team members have taken advantage of those opportunities.

Pros

- First off, everyone I've met at this company is kind, patient, understanding, and unique. There is a LOT of support for new employees. - Manageable Workloads - PTO from the jump, with an accrual rate that will make you wanna sing - Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, and other benefits that are so good, I can afford to go to the doctor for fun if I wanted to. - Flexible Hours. The range of start times can be from 4am to 10am, so you can choose your own adventure - FULLY REMOTE, and the company sent me a lovely desk for my office along with another screen and some supplies. - Advancement opportunities are more present here than at any other job I have worked in my career. There is no tenure or any weird rules around who can or cannot move forward. If you have the skillset and you know how to do the job, KinderSystems will let you shoot your shot! - No awkward video, audio, or chat monitoring to "make sure you are working." As long as you do your job, everything sails so smoothly here.

Cons

- Look even I have been skeptical, waiting for the proverbial "other shoe" to drop. There really isn't one. I sat here for 20 minutes trying to think of a con, or experience I've had there, but again, even in confrontation, this company does it right. So I truly do not have anything I would change about my employment.
