Emphasis on technology Time off in the summer Ability to earn more money by signing up to work detention, volleyball games or E2020

Cons

Bad admin who don't believe their own teachers over students. Parents over ride any forms of discipline if they scream loud enough. Admin are not processing referrals and instead tearing them up so kids are starting to realize they can get away with A LOT. Substitutes don't show up forcing teachers to have to give up conference periods with no choice.

Solid group of peers. Overall great school district.

Cons

Parents are in charge- what they say is most important even when it doesn't benefit the kids. Kids are getting passed through even when they shouldn't pass and aren't ready for the next level. They try and put everyone in high level classes.

It’s a large district with diverse cultures.

Cons

They don’t care about you as a person you are just a number. They give wayyyy tooo much power to admin without any voice from staff. I worked for the district for 10 years and had a horrible BRAND NEW ADMIN that they supported 100% even when I had been submitting claims all year long. I have 20+ specific examples of toxic admin that multiple employees have complained about and they do NOTHING! They don’t listen to employees. No room to grow especially if admin doesn’t like you and even if you have stellar evaluations
