Pros

There are very passionate and hard working employees here. I am glad to have made wonderful connections here.

Cons

To say I am disappointed is an understatement. New products are released left and right with no additional compensation to the support teams. The pay is significantly below market rate for the industry. Don't expect the "quarterly" or "merit" bonuses to be anything substantial. The support teams workload continues to increase while also being provided with inadequate training that ultimately sets employees up for failure. In terms of metrics, the department would rather measure your reflexes on clicking a call button and high ticket counts rather than focusing on quality customer service. Career advancement opportunities are limited. Take a look at the other low-rated reviews in this thread—the trend is impossible to ignore.

Pros

Great technology, great company culture

Cons

Private Equity is gradually eroding a really good company. "Shadow layoffs", falsely labeled as low performance issues at year end. Comp plans watered down, no stock, equity, or ESPP of any kind. No stipend for cell phone use. Channel policies are far from accepted industry norms.

Thanks for your feedback! Pay and benefits matter — and we take that seriously. We review compensation every year to make sure our teams are rewarded for being the best at what they do. Have ideas? We’d love to hear them at peopleops@knowbe4.com.

Pros

Great onboarding process and culture for non-managers.

Cons

You can see that most of the recent high reviews are from employees who have been here within the last 6 months from the onboarding process. KnowBe4 has a wonderful training program for new hires to give them promise, after that things get a little fuzzy. I know the organization pushes us to make positive reviews, especially as a new hire from not only seeing a good onboarding program, but once you are “on the floor”, things are much different. It would be a great company to work for if they gave an annual pay raise for tenured employees, didn’t give false promises, and didn’t talk to Customer Success Managers pay in relation to the industry. If you are not an Enterprise Customer Success Manager, expect having a book of customers over 200 accounts, all of which will have 1-5 highly technical products you are expected to manage. It’s not the “industry norm” based on what they tell you and the pay on top of it proves it as well.
