Pros

Unlimited PTO, flexible schedule, great co workers.

Cons

They claim radical transparency and assured us of no layoffs and that comp plans would be for the better. However, they've now layed off tons of employees with no rhyme or reason as to why they chose who they did to stay or go. Severance was a joke. They cut base salary and commission for the ones who made it, when it was already low for the work load. Stu preaches not treating us like mushrooms(keeping us in the dark and feeding us sh*t) but here we are. He brags about his delimma with someome wanting to trade mansions and procedes to show the whole company pictures of the multi million dallar home. Meanwhile the bonus "game" has gone to crap and we barely hit any more. No room for growth and they are now making anyone within 25 miles of Clearwater RTO 3 days a week, even if hired as remote.

Thank you for sharing your concerns. The internal reorganization is part of our new go-to-market strategy. We understand the disappointment regarding recent changes, and we apologize for any confusion as these changes take place. We are doing our best to provide healthy severance packages for the roles that were no longer needed in the same numbers as part of the restructuring. We have also offered other job openings to qualified Knowsters as an option. Our bonus program earned each Knowster $7,500+ in 2023 and maintains a trajectory similar to previous years. Our Hybrid Return to Office (RTO) policy fosters career growth and enhances collaborative efforts by providing a conducive in-person work environment. We understand that some employees may have special circumstances preventing them from adopting a hybrid work setting, and we are committed to accommodating their needs individually to ensure an inclusive and supportive workplace.

Pros

The people are friendly and work culture is fun.

Cons

If you are in sales, you can not take PTO the last 5 business days of every month & last 10 business days end of every quarter. The company is a small enterprise and there alot of process improvements that still need to be made.

We’re glad to hear you enjoy your coworkers and the fun culture! In the United States, we offer open paid time off (PTO), allowing employees to take PTO with no set number of days per year. However, as you mentioned, our sales and customer success teams do have small blackout periods at the end of each month and quarter, where non-emergency PTO is restricted. We always want to be very transparent about this policy, and we are sure to inform every potential sales and customer success team member about this policy during the hiring process. These time periods are very exciting and productive times for our sales sector, and the blackout dates allow us to come together as a team to meet our organizational goals!

Pros

Opportunity for Growth, Positive Work Environment, Come as you are, Free Fruit and Coffee/Snacks, Positive Culture. This is a great place to work, I come in and set my day to day based on my preferences. No one stands over me and tells me how my everyday needs to run. You do your work, you learn and develop your niche and share your strengths with your team, they share theirs with you. Strong sense of community. I would also like to say, there are people on Glassdoor bashing Knowbe4 for Scientology and recruitment, warning others to beware... I am not a Scientologist and have worked here nearly 2 years, I have NEVER experienced anything of the sort. It's offensive to read, actually. Some sales people seem to have a hard time doing proper discovery and in then focus on where they can redirect blame. There is a strong need for our product (unfortunately that's the world we live in) and there is no better time to be apart of this company, that's the truth. If you LEARN the product and do proper discovery, put in the time and can take information (no matter where it's from) and take it objectively- then apply it to your process, you will be successful. I'm really tired of these slanderous posts about cults from people with damaged egos.

Cons

Several policies change every 60-90 days, Change is Constant (sometimes this is a little too true), Slow Elevators, Unlimited Paid Time Off is not as true as it used to be, there are restrictions and to a degree guilt trips...but they do try to work with you if you're reasonable.

Hi, I'm Stu, KnowBe4's CEO. Good point, and I will take that up with the managers in charge. Thanks for the heads-up.
