Pros
It is fairly easy to be hired by them. A last resort type of place to work. Unlike most places, you do get compensated for every credit card application you have a customer fill out, regardless of them getting approved. Their computer systems are very easy to operate.
Cons
The managers played favorites, which I found very rude. Once I was standing at my register while a few managers and employees were gossiping, and the manager saw me standing at my register so told me to start pulling merchandise out of boxes, while they (were on the clock) continued chatting. I felt it was very demeaning and rude. Another time, I asked with 2 months advance for the weekend off so I could go to prom and they told me I was not approved and scheduled me the whole weekend. Needless to say, I told them I was going to my prom, so when I returned to work the following Monday my name was written on a board for everyone to see with 2 check-marks next to it, like a kindergardener. Apparently, if I got one more check-mark I would have been fired. I felt it was so inappropriate to treat someone like this, especially them knowing I did ask for the days off for my PROM!!! Another thing they did, was schedule me on the floor and at the cash register, which is 2 different schedules. I was not aware of this because no one told me I was suddenly being put in departments and so missed shifts due to their lack of communication.
