Pros

Benefits are affordable. Discounts on Kroger brands. 6-8 weeks paid maternity leave + 4 weeks paid parental leave. If salaried, pay is at 100% the full 10-12 weeks. 4 weeks parental leave can be used by either or both parent with opportunity to extend the leave with PTO using FMLA. Hybrid work schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote with close week (1 week/month) fully remote) Flex Time. Laid back atmosphere. Many opportunities for career advancement. College reimbursements.

Cons

Overworked staff. Poorly performing employees are very rarely fired/reprimanded. Pay for your own equipment. Salaries do not increase at the same rate their merchandise does. Poor work/life balance within certain departments.

Pros

Amazing management and leaders, pride in company and job. Good benefits, fair compensation, good work life balance in most instances, promotion opportunities aplenty

Cons

They’re not being a lot of training for roles at corporate. Your kind of just thrown in and have to figure it out as you go, it’s hard especially since corporate roles are there to serve store associates, supply chain, Health, etc.
