Pros
The team in the UK seem pretty cool and has their stuff figured out. Kiss up to the COO and HR for the American division and the cliché will praise you. The employees are generally really nice and smart outside the management.
Cons
The company has little to no care for cyber security. There are a lot of things that need addressed, but it is of no concern to the American team. They have voiced that they are unhappy with being bought out and it shows. IT will pushed aside from doing what is best for the company's interest in favor of one man's ideas that are not best practice and would likely cause more problems. The little formal policies for IT are ignored and not even practiced by those that most-at-risk. Do not work here. Lot's of work needs done and you'll be on your own and underpaid. The current IT guy is very knowledgeable, however, his knowledge base is becoming rapidly outdated and does not care to modernize. His only thoughts are retirement and his deep resentment towards HR and the engineering lead.
