Pay is very competitive (above average in the chemical industry) Benefits are competitive. Management is accessible and easy to talk to. They welcome new ideas. You have the chance to grow your skills and be noticed by upper management. Because the company is growing there are a lot of opportunities for advancement or to take on new responsibilities that help you learn new things. Because they are a Japanese owned company, the culture values good harmony between employees and managers.

Cons

The company is lean so even though you have an opportunity to take on a lot of challenges and new opportunities, it also means that the work you do can really help or hurt the company. That's a lot of responsibility. Also, they don't' always have formal training programs to help with career advancement or learning your job. You will get a lot of help from your manager or co-workers, but you definitely have to put in the effort and let them know what training you want. If you have the right attitude and entrepreneurial spirit, then you'll like it.
