Pros

Fun atmosphere and great co workers. Loved the location and the way employees were treated. Great campus with a basketball court.

Cons

Poor management. bad product design. very very very very slow communication with parent company in Japan. Often it would take a month to get anything approved.

Pros

It's a good place to start if you like to get into mobile phone business. Kyocera is one of the rare companies you can see how mobile phones designed from cradle to grave.

Cons

It's been decided to move all design/development to India, so US operation is keep downsized. The company is constantly in red and losing money. Japanese HQ is pumping funds to cover the costs, however how long they will take it, quite unknown.
