Pros

As with most companies the rank and file folks are very good to work with but the leadership is horrible.

Cons

Very weak leadership team who all cower in fear of the dictator President/CEO. This fear leads to no direction or decisions and slows any progress. If you are unfortunate enough to have to deal directly with the President/CEO then you better dot every I and cross every T because even something as trivial as a misspelled word will send him on a tirade where you will be berated, publicly. And don't you dare defend yourself because you will be gone within weeks after that. Beyond that there is no upward mobility. They always look to outside first rather than promoting from within. I saw they several times in my tenure, from Marketing and other departments. Finally, the pay is below industry average.

Pros

Decent benefits, helpful employees and the chatter of finally renovating a decrepid and outdated U.S Headquarters building. Hiring new employees with a new perspective is also a plus they are doing.

Cons

Cheap and they pinch every penny to cut corners to save money. Employees are "friendly and nice" but in the same context, they create an "abusive" environment. If you are salary, expect no less than 10-12 hour days, and there is no work/life balance here. HR is trying to make changes and they realize the need for it, but that takes time and a great team to implement those changes. Unfortunately it's a revolving door as new hires see the disaster they have there and bounce out before change can happen. IT systems are behind the times and needs more staff to revamp that area of the corporation also. Everyone is overworked.

Pros

You are left alone and not really bothered by anyone. Insurance is pretty decent

Cons

For such a large company, they have no idea what they are doing. They are so focused on this idea of their future that they forget to even get the small things even remotely right. Their CRM Sherpa looks and works like it was made alongside AOL instant messenger. More than half of the “current” customers in your assigned area are not even in there so they usually go elsewhere once their lease is up because no one has contacted them since they bought. Leadership is not helpful at all. No matter how many times you ask, they always forget. They claim their number one goal is revenue and doing whatever they can to help, but very easily forget and are off to the next thing in what seems like minutes later. No training for the sales team at all. The corporate training literally teaches nothing about sales and then they expect you to just go make it happen. Resources are either non existent or somewhere that no one tells you where to find it. Most people that have even been there for a couple years still don’t understand how everything works and constantly have questions around products or services.
