      Pros

      "Unlimited Vacation". Salary Employees are paid overtime. Work on cool things. People you work with.

      Cons

      It's not a pure meritocracy. You could kill for multiple years straight, once you are compensated, it will be another 3 to 4 years before you receive another bump. No matter how hard you work. Professional Advice: DO NOT TRUST YOUR HR REP. They are not looking after your best interest, they are there to protect the company. The first opportunity they have, you will be thrown to the wolves. You are just an employee # to them. They may whisper sweet nothings that they are there for you, don't fall for it. They wield a lot of power.

      The prior CEO, Bill Brown, L-3 Harris had a reputation of never laying off people. But with the new CEO, Chris Kubasik, he laid off approximately 2500 people during his first year.

      Good pay and vacation/sick time off.

      Cons

      Laid off without any warning, 2 weeks severence pay, given 10 min and a box to grab what I could, weeks away from getting my yearly bonus, and the same day I was laid off they posted my exact job but for new grads they could pay much less. They laid off 5% of their workforce it has been said but they are still posting new job openings.
