Pros

remote capability is by far the best pro. i love being able to control my desk and set my own schedule. majority of colleagues are awesome, except the overly competitive type-a personalities that you run into from time to time. those types are usually the ones who are celebrated most, though. lots of training to help you get up to speed. if you are driven by sales and excel in high stress environments, this is a great place for you. to a certain extent, it's also a great place to learn recruitment because you will learn how to pivot quickly and re-prioritize projects.

Cons

the market has slowed and upper management seems to think that the only way to deal is by micromanaging employees. they are out of touch. it's hard to have work-life balance if you are expected to hit KPIs that aren't realistic. half of the job is sales so at the end of the day, I get it, but I don't think having more meetings will make it better. the training mentioned about is hit or miss depending on who is providing the training. not sure if the training leaders have enough time or knowledge to provide the trainings. tech issues are commonplace. it's embarrassing. for a company that claims to celebrate diversity, just take a look at the executive boards, and you can see its all talk. but thats pretty common in large companies. when you quit, you are pretty much let go day of. and you don't get paid out in PTO.

Worst company/ worst Job

Pros

The perfect example of a bad company to stay away from and appreciate other, better opportunities

Cons

I was recruited on LinkedIn for the SE position. I've had over 10 years experience in various sales and marketing roles and this will be by far the worst company and worst job I've ever accepted. It took me only a few days to see the red flags that ive only heard about in horror stories. Their sales process and training is outdated and out of touch with reality. you learn very quickly that you are not a valued employee, but only a number they expect to cull. Applicant beware of the most negative job you will ever have.

Pros

I appreciate some aspects of their coaching process. They are very structured and it’s good for some organizations who are perhaps a bit sloppy or disorganized in how they handle talent management.

Cons

On the other hand LHH is so process, metrics, and deadline driven that it often does not serve the client. It’s also a real bother for the coach because it’s time wasting and unpaid.
