Pros

Flexibility to work remotely - which is being taken away - they are moving to hybrid in office

Cons

Terrible management, extraordinarily high turnover, changes in compensation plans every year (always for the worse), owned by an overseas company that does not care at all about this dept.

Pros

Pro - Remote office. I didn't have to step into an actual office with these lunatics. Also, it's easier to get a job when you have one. Thanks for that as well.

Cons

Everything. New Colleague Training was a joke. Unbelievably wasteful hiring practice of bringing 30 or so new hires on and having them stressed-out everyday for a few months, hitting silly metrics, while you fire people left and right. Why not slow down and hire people who fit, then educate them and help them grow? I met some sweet people in training, but managers, trainers, leaders were all useless. We don't care that you went to Spain for a jog, head of training, we're miserable and worred about being fired for no true reason. Staffing ebbs and flows with the market. This is the worst time to be in staffing since 2008. Just a bad choice. Take this job if you're desperate, put in some effort and find a new gig asap.

Pros

You will get a temporary paycheck while you look for a legitimate opportunity.

Cons

Yikes... Pretty much everything to be honest. (coming from someone who has never left a review on Glassdoor in 10 years of sales and business development for any company I've worked for) * Outdated philosophy * Outdated recruiting practices * Micromanagement, fear tactics * Lay and spray approach- people are sending 500+ emails daily and this is encouraged * Hire 20-30 people a month and after 60-90 days there will be less than 5 still employed * Hire to Fire- I have never seen a worse working environment, the training is irrelevant, and the training managers are spread way to thin and only manage to metrics. If you want to cold call bad numbers all day and then get chastised when you don't have consistent job orders coming in this is the role for you. * Leadership are ones who have been here anywhere from 5 years to 20 years and all they know is LHH and how they operate.... Dial more, send more emails, spam people etc. Not successful or relevant these days. * any time you offer suggestions you are shot down and told to essentially shut your mouth and have more metrics.
