Pros

Good benefits and that's all

Cons

I was a previous manager forced to write up employees for innocent mistakes. The more professional the staff, the worse they are treated. Upper management consists of a bunch of back stabbing wannabees that are mostly sleeping with each other. No one there is on solid ground. You would be thrown under the bus if it meant one of the manager's was threatened by you. They would steal your ideas and present as their own. They treat doctor's like garbage and it just trickles down from there.

Pros

I’ve spent many years with LP, most of them very happy. I enjoy job, love my profession and support the LIFE Pittsburgh mission in its entirety. This program has been amazing to hundreds of people. They have incredible, gifted, caring staff and an extraordinary CEO.

Cons

Unfortunately I’m finding that the pro’s become overshadowed by the cons. The work environment has become extremely hostile to say to say to least. Interrogations and condescending conversation have replaced the once friendly work environment. Outgoing and helpful colleagues have become bitter and resentful. I’m watching the company that I love fall apart at the direction of a single person.

Thank you for your feedback. LIFE Pittsburgh is not only committed to our Mission of supporting the elderly in our community, we are also committed to our workforce who are dedicated to fulfilling this goal. We hope that you are raising your concerns and if not heard, utilizing our open door policy which is embraced by the CEO. You are absolutely correct that without our staff, our 600 Participants would not have LIFE Pittsburgh to support them, so please do bring forth your issues.

Thank you for your review. LIFE Pittsburgh is committed to provide a safe and healthy workplace and would not subject staff to "infestations". As we are caring for the elderly population, there are situations that arise where precaution need to be adopted, and LIFE Pittsburgh provides the necessary PPE to protect our staff. LIFE Pittsburgh is committed to the care and conditions of the Participants we serve, but never at the expense of our staff's health.
