Salary was comparable. Mill employees were hard-working and easy to work with for the most part.

Cons

Lack of communication. Human Resources facilitates a "good-ole' boy" environment. Safety IS NOT a core value. No consistency with management.

Pros

Networking is more important than performance, which is pretty much the same anywhere. Make sure to identify and maintain those relationships to know what opportunities are coming and get on the radar when the interviews come.

Cons

Same as Pros. Great performers but poor networkers lose out. Better for them to get promotions at other companies because there is no respect for those who don't take the relationship building initiative.
