Pros

The pay is good. Four-day weekends can also be nice.

Cons

The overall atmosphere of this place is toxic. Coworkers will talk poorly of others as soon as they leave the break room. Many of the people here are angry, jaded, and lack respect for others. There were numerous times I was verbally abused but was not comfortable reporting to management. The hours are long, monotonous, and frankly soul-crushing. Working in such a negative environment is not worth the pay. I do not recommend working here. Stay away!

The pay is fair for the area.

Cons

The Thomasville location has an affinity towards promoting young white males, primarily those between 22-35. LP lacks leaders that are able to demonstrate fair and consistent leadership.

Just like everywhere else they preach safety...until it affects production. Very little preventative maintenance, wait for breakdowns before addressing issues. Salaried vs Union
