Total waste of many years. Feel like I didn't matter at all.
Pros
Good product, friendly staff. If you work there long enough you meet some life long friends and get to know their families.
Cons
Not what I signed up for. I was told 45 hours a week. That never happened. In fact you never got off at the time your schedule said. Basically on call all the time. Webinars and conference calls on your day off early in the morning. Usually it was to tell you how much you suck or to call BS on the staff when we tried to talk our business. Not only were you responsible for your own goals but you had to get your staff to work on their goals. Which is hard to motivate someone for an hourly wage of $10.00 and sometimes less. Expect to clean toilets, mop floors, climb ladders to change light bulbs, unload merchandise and unbox, clean kitchen, mulch, paint, fix things, vacuum, dust, hang outdoor signs in all weather climates, move furniture, and clean windows all in your work clothes. Also expect any of your ideas to be a waste of time It's usually the managers way or no way. And they have no problem letting you know that if front of your entire staff by yelling at you on the sales floor. I feel like I wasted a ton of years with this company. If your a training store expect to of all this AND train everyone with no other compensation while your manager gets all the praise. Word of advice, anything they tell you in the interview get in writing, because it won't stick unless you have proof.
