      Toxic culture and management does not care

      Pros

      Pay and benefits are decent.

      Cons

      The work environment is a mess. Feedback is seen as rocking the boat. The toxic culture promotes keeping your mouth shut. Teamwork is given lip service because management does not care. Work for this company if you want to sell out your values for a paycheck.

      Pros

      The company has had a really good run in the past 5 years or so, fast growth, good bonuses and the rising stock prices have made it worthwhile

      Cons

      Though I have not been a victim of sexual harassment at Lam, I don't think Lam is a good place to work for women. The culture is very male and old fashioned and I have reason to believe the management does not get it. There is no real understanding of how hard it is to thrive as a woman (except perhaps in HR or finance where there is a critical mass of women). I hope the CEO departure sparks a real soul searching at Lam, not just more lip service to core values.

      Horrible Management

      Pros

      Competitive pay and benefits compared to other companies in the industry. Can have a good career path if you are an engineer.

      Cons

      Horrible executive team. They give zero respect to employees and scream at you constantly making it miserable to work at. There are way to many levels to get things approved that it slows down business. Extremely top heavy.
