Pros

Work from home, paid training, mentorship program

Cons

Benefits not so great, mentor and trainers don't usually speak your own language, so it's hard to receive a personalized mentorship. It's hard to find internal resources about which teams to contact for issues.

We also appreciate your candid feedback about benefits, access to internal resources, and the mentorship experience. We continuously review our programs, tools, and support systems to better serve our interpreters, and insights like yours are important in that process.

Pros

You get to help people and learn a lot of things about various different subjects.

Cons

Call volumes for contractors can fluctuate significantly, leading to unstable income. Communication about these changes is often limited, and there is little transparency around call distribution or long-term earning potential.

Thank you for sharing your experience and for the more than three years you have dedicated to this work. We appreciate your recognition of the meaningful impact interpreters make every day by helping others and expanding their knowledge across subjects. We understand that workload fluctuations can be challenging, and for matters related to call volume, distribution, or earning potential, we encourage you to connect directly with your hiring partner, as they manage contractor engagement and scheduling. We remain committed to fostering clear communication and continually reviewing our practices to support interpreters’ success and the quality of service we provide.
