Not a single raise even after working at the company over 10 years! Little to no opportunity for growth. Adding more responsibilities, requirements with no additional compensation

Pros

Good company. Very diverse. I chose LanguageLine over other companies (specifically in tech) because of the people and flexibility. Management has always been supportive of my career goals and understanding of life matters. They paid for a portion of my certifications and courses when I was in school so I’m thankful for that. Overall I have a good work/life balance.

Cons

The buildings are pretty outdated so could use some renovations. There wasn’t a lot of space pre-COVID so might be worse when everyone goes back and has to share the common areas.

Pros

- I like my manager and coworkers. I consider them to be my friends. - Fun company events throughout the year. - Your career can grow here until retirement. I know employees that have been with the company for 20+ or 30+ years. If you want a different job or new manager, there’s job openings in other departments. - LLS has handled the Pandemic well compared to other companies that forced their employees to return to the office as soon as they could. I appreciate how often the CEO communicated with us and I feel safe being in the office. Too bad we can’t all work from home.

Cons

- It’s a big company that has gone through a lot of changes. Some of their systems and processes are outdated. It can take a while until you get routed to the right person or department. - Just like any other company, there are good and bad managers. And there are good and bad coworkers.
