Pros

Lantern has an amazing mission of enabling positive outcomes for people in need of speciality care. The company started with providing narrow network access for speciality surgery needs and created a successful business model around it. Now, they are expanding in Cancer space as well and genuinely trying to help. The company has faced lots of growth in recent time and while there's growing pains and easy to point problems, I would genuinely commend the leadership team to keep up and trying to match the pace and create a culture to deliver the results needed. From Tech to Ops to Commercial, every department has seen amazing growth and had their fare share of challenges. But I have noticed teams coming together to help, people getting amazing growth opportunities, and company celebrating success and recognizing those who perform well.

Cons

Fast paced growth comes at a cost. Cost of people working too hard and with risk of burn out. Its not everyone's cup of tea and truly only works for team members who are mission-driven and like the challenge. There can be an aura of fatigue or discontent if team members are not conducive to fast paced, mission-driven, growth mindset culture. This is something for the company to consider in the hiring strategy and ensure right skilled people are getting hired.

Pros

Company has room for growth

Cons

The supervisors are fully aware that the workload is unreasonable, yet they remain silent, which puts new hires in a difficult position. If newcomers voice concerns about the workload, they end up looking bad in comparison. Favoritism is rampant, with the director and long-time supervisors—who all started as CAs—sharing a close-knit bond and being far less welcoming than they seem. New supervisors are given minimal training despite high expectations, and the workplace is filled with gossip and subtle bullying, resembling high school dynamics. The workload exceeds 50 hours a week, often extending into weekends, leaving no room for work-life balance. The old team tends to unite against anyone they don't like
