Pros
LDG has been a great place to work for the past few years. The corporate service team is transparent with their growth vision and goals and does a good job at keeping everyone updated on the company stats. There is room to grow in this company if you are willing to put in the time and effort it takes and don't just expect a hand out. They have done a good job with their recent compensation plan to be competitive in order to retain their employees. Just within the past few years I've been here, LDG has improved with leaps and bounds toward making this a top place of employment. There seems to be a good work life balance that managers are respectful of, and they just implemented summer hours which is also another great incentive, I hope they continue to progress with their employee engagement and retention plans.
Cons
There have been groups that have struggled with employee turnover and having issues with burning out some of the employees, however the company recognizes this issue and is working toward creating a better employee environment for those groups. Also to put it in perspective, those groups are just a small piece of the pie that make up LDG, so the few who had a poor experience here were unfortunately just part of a team that has some work to be done so that they can be brought up to speed with the rest of the company. In some instances it pays to hold out, or furthermore to stand up as a leader and help make those groups successful. If you always do what you've always done, then you'll always get what you've always gotten.
