Pros

Potential to learn software and other high-end job related skills. Some teams have strong leadership and offer patience and solid mentoring to inexperienced team members. Growth. Ability to move up positions or stay put if you want. Flexibility in schedule or office/remote environment (after you’ve developed some trust with supervisor). Fairly laid back atmosphere with unpretentious corporate leaders. Makes genuine attempts to engage employees across multiple offices in multiple states. I have found most of mid level team leaders I worked with are very encouraging and appreciative of staff.

Cons

Growth is too much too fast to keep up with - currently not enough people for the workload. Trouble hiring new talent, while willing to let go of current talent too easily. Thus, creating work life balance problems for those who remain. Merit raises only occur once a year. Some old timers in senior and mid management can be rigid and out of touch with more progressive workplace culture realignments (remote working, promoting from within, work life balance, talent retention).
