Pros

A steady paycheck, but not a guaranteed job. That goes for no matter how much you " Change and Adjust." I enjoyed working with our many, unsuspecting customers. This is a major role, along with the Project manager. Putting out fires that usually dealt with misrepresented work to be performed to what would actually be done. Customers were usually always cordial and respectful.

Cons

Constant complaints with upset customers is the biggest. A lot of business practices that made everyone I worked with and myself very uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend doing any type of business with this company.

Pros

Once the schedule is built and marketers are hired, the job offers a lot of time home. The issue is, these marketers come and go and it's a constant process of recruit, interview, hire, train, manage, try to retain. Over and over. Your success is based on their success. You may have 5 events over a weekend with the ability to only do one. You hit your numbers but they do not? You have failed. Do well one month, you'll get recognized. Fall back the next, you may get put on a Performance Improvement Plan with 90 days to pick it up. It's all about the numbers. You don't matter beyond that.

Cons

Management doesn't care about you as a person, just about the money brought in. Tough economy? Go find those needles in the haystack, they say. The sales are out there, you have to find them. The product is extremely overpriced and you'll get beat up onsite by disgruntled customers. They outsource their installation to contractors whose benefit it is to do the job fast rather than properly. They get paid by the foot. If they want to make $200 today, they have to do several jobs. Do you think they're going to take the time to clean out a gutter and hang it properly before putting up the gutter protection?
