Pros

Work from home. Equipment is provided. Cool after work Activities

Cons

Unfair compensation. HORRIBLE training. Expect to get thrown in the deep end with no help. Owners are more concerned with their brand than being a reputable insurance company. Spreading employees to thin by adding new products. Unrealistic expectations to have all employees have an “upbeat” attitude while not making a livable wage and not getting paid for 3 weeks but given a forced last minute 3 days off that created more of a headache instead of giving a bonus. Events are catered to young single people with no responsibilities.

Pros

The pay and bennies are great, great teams. Fair bit of little perks

Cons

The company lies about how much people make, putting that all made the same at $42,000. In the same role we’re people making $45,000. So they lied and then terminated those people without warning. The company would have algorithm issues, and over charge customers, and those responsible for fixing the problem would ask if they should fix it only for those who complain. Lemonade started out as an idealistic place, and quickly turned into a place of lies and gaslighting.

Pros

- work from home - minimal supervision - good benefits - friendly coworkers

Cons

- no raises for 2 years - upper management likes to isolate and drill employees out of their opinions that may go against the company - avoidance of clear answers/help for employees, lots of gray lines and vague answers - noticeable favoritism and sexism - start up culture, in that it's a constant dumpster fire of technical and protocol issues that take forever to correct - toxic positivity, no room to be upset or unhappy about anything
