Pros

Pay is decent but for the heavy workload and unwillingness to hire an adequate amount of employees it should be much higher. Work from home is a good benefit but does not feel like much of a luxury when you really are tied down to your computer and absolutely drowning in work.

Cons

Piggy-backing off the other negative review that was posted on 10/8/22. I completely agree with everything that was said there. The "work life balance" or the fact that they preach how mental health is so important is a complete scam. There is no work life balance. Multiple employees share with me personally or on officevibe that their mental health is tanking. Employees are completely burnt out, stressed, and anxious. When employees voice their opinion of being overworked and stressed, they are gaslighted by managers and told they are "easily stressed" leaving them to feel hopeless. If you are on PTO or sick, no one is there to help you. There is a "buddy" system but it's hard for the buddy to even help with anything when everyone can't even keep up with their own work. Basically you have to fend for yourself and if you even get the slightest behind, it will take you months to get out of a rough patch. Management is unsupportive and only give false promises. They always say "things will get better soon!" but nothing has changed since I started my position. They tell you not to worry about your numbers but then also will get on you for having low numbers or scores at your review. Per the other individuals review, I am copying exactly the same point as I completely agree: "The number of inconsistencies in protocol and policy decisions are incredibly frustrating, as you will get different answers from different people, then have to take more time to fix ‘your’ mistake. It is also difficult to trust a company that is willing to switch peoples job titles and duties without choice. They will change you from a claims adjuster (the job you signed up for) to 100% customer service rep and not give you a choice. They will act like they did you a favor in being transparent for telling you about this ahead of time." I hope this review is helpful to anyone looking to join Lemonade as I would 100 percent not recommend this company to work for. Yes they do a lot of gift sending and small rewards however I always feel this is a way to cover up and trick you into thinking they actually care. They definitely do not.

Pros

Work from home Remote work Gifts Work from home stipend

Cons

Unrealistic expectations Micromanaging Feeling literally chained to your desk Extremely high stress Not competitive pay Shady company that values numbers over employees Promises certain perks then takes them away No opportunity for any kind of raise before 2 years employment. Managers push and push for better numbers causing extreme stress and declines in employees mental health. Employees feel chained to their desk and are afraid to leave to even use the restroom. There is no transparency from a company that prides themselves on being transparent with its customers. The whole place is a joke filled with toxic positivity (to the extreme). Don’t work here unless you’ve always dreamed of being micromanaged to the extreme and enjoy being constantly reminded that you’re great BUT just not as good as you could be (even when you work on off times to try and get better numbers). No one will ever be good enough because even if you’re the best employee, they will still compliment sandwich you until you feel just inadequate enough that you break down and quit.

Pros

In person events Random gifts Free food in office

Cons

Underpaid and overworked employees, regardless of dept. Bad culture Leadership cannot lead Customer concerns aren't taken seriously Employee concerns are dismissed No accountability Not transparent at all Claim handling habits are terrible Still acting as if they have 200 employees. Slack posts with a lot of emojis are the most recognition you'll get. No compensation for a job well done or working extra.
