Pros

On paper, good benefits. Good Pay

Cons

Terrible work-life balance PTO is rejected often Leadership is lacking, young employees are not set up for success Before employees work here, they are pitched an amazing culture from Levelset; and I think the culture is average at best, toxic at worst.

Pros

Very talented coworkers and the company mission is virtuous. Levelset truly empowers contractors to protect what they’ve earned.

Cons

My 3+ year tenure at Levelset took a huge toll on my mental health because of the overwhelming workload, lack of fair compensation, and false career opportunities. Partway through my time at Levelset, my manager left the company and I was expected to perform managerial duties indefinitely without proper compensation. The workload was overwhelming and my department received zero help despite constantly communicating our struggles to management. After performing an overwhelming workload (including managerial duties) without proper compensation for nearly 6 months, I took another position at Levelset. I was verbally promised the chance of a pay raise + promotion within 1 year if I performed highly in my role and took on additional responsibilities. Within 9 months, I received a company-wide award for dominating my role and greatly contributing to my department’s KPI’s. I also absorbed additional managerial duties after another manager on my team left the company. When I inquired about my career opportunities as discussed when I started the role, I was told that I needed to “do more” despite receiving official company-wide recognition for my performance and absorbing additional responsibilities. On my final day at Levelset, I received zero communication from HR or management and ended my 3+ year tenure in complete silence. Despite a major hurricane landing in New Orleans a couple days after my final day, Levelset did not check on me at all and only contacted me to request paperwork during a time when my life was completely upended and I was struggling to ensure my home was safe. This experience was a true testament to the company’s indifference towards myself as an employee and their lack of basic care towards myself as a person.

Pros

Great people/environment, good pay and benefits, opportunity for growth.

Cons

Hard to have previous experience in something so specific, so learning starts from scratch.
