The receiving department manager (my boss) was great. The receiving, catering, and concessions people were good coworkers; the latter two departments often lent people to receiving since I was sometimes the only person on staff other than my boss.

Cons

Some chefs could be pretty angry if people made mistakes, which I thought was a bit excessive, but it wasn't out of the ordinary for the restaurant business.
