Meal per diem was excellent....for 1982! Management consisted of former coders; not a nurse friendly environment at all.

Good training and flexible hours.

Cons

There are absolutely no pay raises. It doesn't matter if you've worked here for 1 year or 10 years, you will get paid the same unless you decide to become a manager. It's increasingly more difficult to live off this pay each year.

Working remotely... that's about it

Cons

Horrible management, lack of meaningful communication, no pay increases, only consistent feedback is negative (you won't hear about the 100s of charts you did perfectly, but you better believe you'll get an email about every mistake demanding an explanation!).
