No raises ever! Even after years of being with the company. No bump in PTO until 6 years of employment. No 401k match, old computer equipment. Will switch you from production/bonus to straight hourly.

Observation- Micro Management ; Speaking of Healthcare Benefits- doesn't start until after 3 months of employment completed. That's not the norm with major companies. Major companies its from day 1.

The only con is that you don't get to meet with your co-workers face to face everyday!

I had to keep transferring from client to client, too many coders and not enough work. kept getting new managers assigned. low pay. some managers were micromanaging

I haven't had a raise in 5 years. You did not read that wrong. 5 years and still crickets when I ask. Keep your options open.

There are absolutely no pay raises. It doesn't matter if you've worked here for 1 year or 10 years, you will get paid the same unless you decide to become a manager. It's increasingly more difficult to live off this pay each year.
