Pros

Great benefits. Good Hours. If you are good at kissing up and inflating every little thing you do then this might be the place for you.

Cons

It is High School all over. There is a small group of Senior Management who control everything (funds, reviews, what gets done etc.). They are not looking at ways to improve the bottom line but how to kiss up to Jim Peck. Don't get me wrong, I know you have to keep your boss happy but please take a chance sometimes....don't just stick with the same old way.... Senior Management does not stand up for the people below them--not a good way to build trust.

Pros

Department managers are competent and have employee's best interest. PTO is a good - employees are given PTO (sick days and vacation days) so if you are not sick you still get the days to use as vacation days. 401K matching is good.

Cons

Upper management treats employees like sacrificial pawns with regard to staffing decisions (I understand my position and I am okay being a pawn but not a sacrificial pawn). Upper management does not understand nuances of departments that they manage. By upper management, I am indicating the Information Technology management in Alpharetta. Upper management in Information Technology company-wide has a philosophy that they do not like licensed software irregardless of what it does or how important that software is to each department.
