Hierarchical business Constantly told you’re not ready for a promotion or no one is being given a pay rise even though other people are getting them. Pay rises and promotions given to favourites, and yes there are absolutely favourites. If you’re not one, Don’t expect to get a look in. Higher Management levels given good bonuses, if you’re lower level then don’t expect anything. Even if you’ve been there for years. Loyalty and years worth of service don’t count for anything.
