A Tale of Two Call Centers

Pros

Pros – Some employees can be nice. But then again, tyrannize a group of people and they will find common ground.

Cons

Cons – Besides everything mentioned below? Pay. You get payed decent, but pay has not changed in years. Call centers are starting to catch up and pay a similar wage for simplistic jobs that don’t require nearly as much misery. Prepare to be abused by your superiors, although you’ll be rewarded if you lack critical thinking skill and follow their asinine ideals. To the upper management everything boils down to numbers which leads to a hostile work environment. As things are seeming to spiral downward for this company internally it is only a matter of time before our smart customers see through the façade marketing paints and instead finds the hideous remains of self-absorbed, arrogant leaders, cracking the whip on their exhausted employees. The real question is: if they treat their employees with less respect than an ant they stepped on, can you really trust that the company will put you, the consumer, first? The employees, the tired ones you speak with on the phones, they might care. But the ones actually profiting from your purchases and unwavering support? Not one bit.

Not the best

Pros

The company facility was awesome. Onsite cafeteria, free coffee/tea, discount on supplements and etc. The work was average and I learned a great deal about product specs.

Cons

When they are ready to let you go no matter your work ethic they’ll teach your job to someone else and begin to decrease what you do on a daily basis until you’re out the door. I was 6 months pregnant with twins when they decided to terminate me and and discontinue my medical benefits. They had absolutely no remorse. They said the position was “eliminated”. About a month or two later on indeed a opening for QAQC ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT was up... same description same pay.
