Pros

The friendships you make while working there and the insurance is paid for by the company

Cons

Overworked, pay is low, stressful, back to back calls, no room for growth, favoritism, management doesn't care about their employees, racist, black people and people of color work on the bottom while upper management, HR, and corporate are all white.

Pros

Pay is decent to start Co-workers are great Decent benefits

Cons

Highly stressful Tethered to your desk all day and need to ask for bathroom breaks Hurried to get back on the phones after your call Customers can be a pain Not much support for wellness specialists at night Everyone gets a raise at the same day of the year. Some of us missed the cutoff of that day by 2 weeks and never received a pay raise after 1.5 years

Pros

Most of the colleagues are cool, because they are just as miserable as you are. If you like to work overtime during the crazy busy sales you may get a mediocre pizza party. Sometimes the homeless people that hang outside the call center will come and talk to you, so for a split second you can think at least your life isn’t that bad.

Cons

Tied to a chair for most of your shift so plan on developing a UTI. If you need to poop during your shift you just used up all your break time for the day. Customers may yell or get angry at you for no fault of your own. You will start to lose self worth. You will become undateable because you start hating the entire world for having to take call after call. You become emotionally exhausted of dealing with other people’s negative energy and reading off a script to sell supplements to people. New hires have to work on holidays, yes even Christmas/Thanksgiving. Why does a supplement company stay open on holidays to only get calls from chronic customers who don’t want to purchase anything and just whine about being miserable? Not sure. Most sane people who have worked at this company still ponder over this one. But that’s not all, you will also be monitored/recorded and your calls will get scored. So if you enjoy being talked to like a 6 year old about how you could have done this better or that better, and enjoy being constantly criticized then maybe this is the dream job for you.
