Pros

The employee gym is nice. Employees park in a secure parking garage. They are no longer located in Maryland Farms where traffic is a nightmare.

Cons

Managers are always polite but they push, push, push for more work to get done. There is not a work-life balance, they will tell you they do not want you to work a lot of overtime, but it is still expected. These are salary positions, some overtime is to be expected but it is impossible to get the work completed in less than 55 to 60 hours EVERY WEEK and this goes on for YEARS. Managers and employees are all in cubicles, which I do not mind but because of the amount of work, it is difficult to complete tasks because of the interruptions, there is no 'quiet' time to work without interruptions. In my department, it is constant chaos, people talking on phones, over cubes, and many interruptions thru-out the day. Salary discrimination against female workers occurs at the corporate office. Ladies do your research and demand to be compensated fairly.

Terribly Inefficient

Pros

none that I can think of

Cons

Extremely inefficient company that only cares about profit for their shareholders. May be worse or better once the RCCH merger takes place. When they buy out a hospital they bill themselves as experts who can help. The opposite is true. Clueless overlords in Nashville will ram their processes down your throat even if you have better ones already in place. Soon after they take over they will start taking away every little perk they can. Say goodbye to raises for several years at a time and they ones you do get are more of an insult. Communication is terrible at all levels.

Pros

Decent salary and benefits package

Cons

This company still operates like a small, startup. Incompetence is rewarded.
