Pros

Lifetouch is a well established with support from district management. They have been around for many years. Lifetouch even offer health care for their part-time workers as well as their seasonal workers. There is room for growth as well. College students can always still be on staff and work during their holidays and vacations when they are in town. You get to work with children and families. Its a pleasant environment. Manager on staff is caring and flexible with your lifestyle. The job lets you get creative.

Cons

Holiday seasons such as Christmas is hectic. Only good for part-time( you can't seem to get hours to work.) Average work hours are about 10 hours a week unless you are manager or assisting manager Training is not always available although greatly needed. District management will not assign training hours at certain times, therefore manager on staff doesn't have the opportunity to train. Dental insurance only available for full time workers. They do not hire for full time workers only part time unless you are management.

Pros

Working at Lifetouch can be an extremely rewarding opportunity. I enjoy going out there and getting that FANTASTIC smile out of each and every child I photograph.

Cons

Lifetouch seems to focus more on the sale rather than the smile. It is diheartening to find that the bread and butter of the company, meaning its photographers, are the lowest paid in the company. For a company that depends on it's "Professional" photographers, you would think they would pay us more than the minimal. Management within the territory seems to be inadequate at best. Mid level management is incompetant and Upper level management seems disinterested in what is going on within the territory. Employee moral this fall was very low.
