Pros

Good working with a good cause.

Cons

Upper management has a hard time making good decisions that are best for the company as a whole. They seem to care more about lining their pockets than anything.

Pros

Kids are awesome to be with and seeing them grow

Cons

Mean Girls-esk environment! To quote from one of the BC's/BCBA's there, she said "I want to be Regina George" 😅😑 This is someone who was near 30 or was 30+ years old and upper management. If that doesn't tell you the mentality of that clinic, I dont know what will. She still works there. Clique mentality and upper management favors certain therapists waaaaaay more than others. Bias is HIGH at that place and the same people constantly get overstuffed NET ONLY environment. No DTT at all and you are constantly given random clients everyday with no warning and they never get enough good data, because we are told to pair for 10-15 minutes only and then do work. Like, what? It was my first clinic at the time and I didn't know better but from the clinic that I work at now, its so much more efficient. So kids develop much slower as a result. Support staff or higher level RBTS do NOTHING and are constantly talking at their materials station and are only there for behaviors and..... thats it. They dont do much of anything. 7 minute breaks, 3X a day. So not even 30 minute break in total. What a joke. Management bias is heavy and borderline schizophrenic. THREE promotions in less than a year, they better be freaking awesome and not just do the bare minimum. Plus, the people promoted dated the other employees without notifying management, soooooo... good job Regina George wannabes. Felt like I was working in an environment where the three BCBA's wanted to relive their high-school setting and be the popular kids that ruled with an iron fist. It was WEIRD and id never work under those people again. Horrible upper management.
