Pros

Connections built with clients and their family, making a positive impact, seeing a client reach a goal.

Cons

Horrible management that treats their employees with no respect. Not only have I experienced unfair treatment but harassment and workplace bullying by higher ups. There is constant micromanaging and mocking, making you question your own skills. You can be written up for unreasonable assumptions such as “not checking the schedule.” You are lucky if you are able to go to the bathroom and eat lunch due to no breaks. When I brought up my concerns for safety due to aggressive clients I was ignored. Working here has not only negatively impacted my physical health but mental health. Wish I would have listened to other reviews.

Pros

40 hours guaranteed, pay increases, overtime

Cons

Horrendous management, they single out random employees and do everything in their power to force them to quit. Any infractions listed on PIPs or general feedback were all hearsay and we were not given the chance to defend ourselves or submit evidence as to why management was wrong. This company is for money not for the wellbeing of their clients and staff. I was told they valued attendance over the health and safety of the kiddos and staff and that I should've come in with Covid-19. During my time there, many employees were fired after getting sick and needing to use time off but not having enough time off to cover. UPTO is limited to 80 hours for the entire year and PTO is accrued at a very slow pace (around 8 hours a month). These individuals were fired while we were incredible short staffed and we had to call out at least five learners a day due to lack of staff. I submitted a personal LOA for mental health reasons and they denied my request stating it caused the company “undue burden.” After receiving a PIP I was given one week to show improvement before being terminated. They then broadcasted my termination in the whole team chat for everyone to see.
