      - Getting to work with a very talented and professional group of people - plenty of opportunities to take initiative and make a real difference at the company as opposed to feeling like a cog in a machine - hard work and dedication is celebrated here - management appreciates and recognizes when someone goes the extra mile - high expectations, yet an understanding of work-life balance. Positive culture that encourages forming authentic bonds and connections with your colleagues - Solid benefits package that takes care of the employees

      in true startup fashion, processes and expectations change quickly and frequently here. It can definitely be challenging to keep up with that; must be able to adapt consistently

      Honestly one of the highest performing cultures I've been a part of. Some of the negative reviews you’ll find are from folks who couldn’t keep up with the pace and were let go. The work is fast-paced and challenging, but it is also why Lightning has over 200,000 users in < 10 months and over 150 million downloads. If you're looking to just "coast" this is not the place. Every day feels meaningful, and the high standards ensure you're always growing alongside talented people. The company is quick to manage out poor performers, so you’re surrounded by people who are aligned and driven.

      Cons

      This environment isn’t for everyone - things change fast, and expectations are high. You need to be adaptable and self-motivated to thrive here. Feedback is blunt and direct. If you’re not comfortable with straight talk, it might feel intense, but it’s always focused on outcomes, not personal attacks.
