Pros

Lots of overtime. Full benefits.

Cons

The reason they approve OT is because they're swamped with back orders. There is no way to earn a solid living at 40 hrs/wk as a customer service rep. The call volume is horrendous because of a poorly managed system. Corp just reroutes all calls to the local center, even though a lot of the calls are meant for, and best handled by, Corp. Long hold times and incompetence before the calls reach the local center create lengthy calls with irate customers. If you don't mind getting your head chewed off with almost 70% of your call volume, then this is the place for you. Management Dodges calls at every turn, your left to make excuses and take messages.

Great if you are able to teach yourself while keeping up with expectations.

Pros

Monday - Friday 8am-5pm, unless you are an on call employee. Paid Holidays, vacation, and sick days. Full benefits package for all full time employees.

Cons

Little to no training, or support. The Manager is expected to perform training for all new employees, and keep up with their requirements as well. This can result in high stress particularly at month end. Turn over rate is high due to low pay vs what is expected from employees as well as lack of training. If you take a management position, be prepared to have the world expected from you. If you are fully staffed, with an office that has been trained properly, you should have few issues. If you are not, or end up at some point not being staffed, be prepared to give your entire life to the company with little to no acknowledgement or appreciation for what you do. You must realize that no matter what you do, how hard you work, or how much you give, it will never be enough. If you can handle those kind of expectations you will be fine. I was able to handle it for a while, and did fine. However, it does eventually catch up to you.
