Pros

None that I can think of

Cons

Very toxic work environment even though I was a remote employee. Higher ups were not helpful and just set the front line employees up for failure. The training Process could use a lot of help as it trains you for nothing compared to what is expected. Some “favorites “ got overlooked on mistakes while others got docked points wise on performance. Management was very sarcastic in response and blew employees off when asking for help. One would say one thing and another would say something completely different, very inconsistent! Lack of leadership even though there were plenty playing the role of one (how I don’t know!) The level of passiveness to the customers was insane also! No care or concern and it became obvious VERY QUICKLY that the customers were not top priority! Lost policies, inability to contact departments regarding policies, front line workers not adequately trained leading to the inability to even get to the correct department, AND NOBODY CARES! My downfall is I cared too much and tried too hard I guess.

Poor Work/Life Balance

Pros

Great benefits, decent pay, nice people to work with, the ability to work from home

Cons

This company was not prepared for the pandemic. I didn't mind the job the first few years of working here, but once Covid-19 pandemic struck and staffing needs changed, it all went took a turn for the worse. They very quickly became a numbers company, and work/life balance went out the window. They treat their employees like numbers and expect them to work like machines. A lot of employees have had to take leave of absence due to the extreme stress the job causes. You are expected to complete a very high amount of work, while maintaining quality, and also answering the phones which often times involves angry customers. It is not possible to complete it all in an 8 hour work day. It is not good for work/life balance. If they don't learn how to value the employees they have, they will find that turnover rate is going to dramatically increase, if it hasn't already. Being able to work from home is a perk, but it is not worth the taxation on your life outside of work.

Pros

nice co workers and decent food in the cafeteria

Cons

The computer systems are terrible, very outdated, slow and not user friendly. The processes take twice as long as they normally would yet they seem have no motivation to improve them. Yet they pile claims on you and expect you to do your job fast and efficiently when you dont have the tools to do so. The morale was awful, people barely speak to each other and its just a depressing tone throughout the call center. Managers are given way too much power to fire employees at will without any concerted approach or plan on how to replace them. Therefore, their workload falls on the rest of the team. Very stressful workplace
