This company has an amazing approach to intervention for reading fluency and comprehension development. The sensory-cognitive instruction you are able to implement with students is so impactful. The culture of a Lindamood-Bell Center is highly focused on creating a loving and safe environment where students can build both their language processing skills and develop confidence. The level of fulfillment working here brings is not something easily found. The people you get to work with tend to be amazingly warm and come from all different areas of expertise. I love being able to collaborate with such a vast range of people for how to motivate and encourage our students. The work environment is consistently fast paced and your day will never be the same twice.

Cons

As with all client based companies, the need for employees and work hours can shift with the current student load. Company leaders are continuously working to decrease the effect this has on staff though there is not a perfect and immediate fix.

Great kids and staff, all the employees are extremely kind and empathetic. Management is great, honest, and well-organized. The work is very rewarding and you leave every day feeling like you've made small, but significant change in the world. Very positive environment for students, families, and staff.

Cons

Tough to get full-time work during certain seasons.
