Thank you for sharing your experience with Lindamood-Bell. We’re glad to hear that you value the pay and find your coworkers supportive. We understand that learning our unique programs can be an adjustment, but it’s a key part of ensuring consistent, effective results for our students. Our goal is to provide thorough training to set clinicians up for success. Regarding observations, mentoring is part of our commitment to maintaining high standards and providing constructive feedback to help clinicians refine their skills. We understand it can feel interruptive at times, but it’s essential for maintaining the integrity of our programs. As part of a team, clinicians work one-on-one with students, while our most experienced staff members are responsible for progress monitoring, making recommendations, developing lesson plans, and more. Being present and interacting with students is necessary for them to complete these tasks effectively. While we appreciate your candor in this forum, we would encourage you to discuss any specific concerns directly with your supervisor so that we can address them appropriately. Thank you for your contributions to the Learning Center; we are here to support your continued efforts.

Pros

Seeing the progress of the students, coworkers, guided curriculum, encouraging coworker recognition.

Cons

Training=cramming video content for nearly two weeks, some shadowing. •Inconsistent/low hours. •Some dated teaching materials. •Incredibly, incredibly expensive for parents (without a guaranteed (+) outcome). Seasonal employment - full season not guaranteed. One coworker was given a day's noticed/told there were "no more hours" and let go that day. •Hired way too many people at once for such a small center, did not distribute hours effectively.

Thank you for sharing your experience with Lindamood-Bell. We’re pleased to hear that you appreciated your interactions with your coworkers and observed the positive impact of our instruction on students. We recognize that our training process can be intensive, and we are continually working to ensure the right balance between training content and practical experience to better prepare our clinicians. We also understand that our services represent a significant investment for families. Our team-based approach is key to achieving significant progress in a relatively short time. In addition to the private instruction at our learning center, Lindamood-Bell trains educators in our methods, allowing us to extend our programs to more students. We take your feedback seriously, particularly regarding communication and our student-based scheduling. Your insights are valuable as we strive to enhance our workplace and make necessary improvements. Thank you again for your feedback, and we wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

Good benefits and vacation hours

Cons

Managers constantly looking over your shoulder looking for something you did wrong. People who are liked are promoted over people who do a good job.
