Merging two of the largest US eye banks has been an intricate process, so we appreciate your patience with the changes that have occurred to align as one. All changes have been carefully considered to honor donors and recipients while supporting our employees. Thank you for the hard work you put into our mission.

We acknowledge that a role in Donor Services can be challenging, but we aim to create an inclusive and motivating environment. Our benefit offerings were aligned to be fiscally responsible as a non-profit, while still keeping employees’ needs in mind. The plans rank at the 85th percentile in the country. We heard the consistent feedback regarding compensation, and we conducted a detailed compensation analysis within our industry to implement within our organization. Please do reach out to HR to further discuss your areas of concern and how we can support you.

Pros

Surgical experience and willing to hire people with no degree or experience.

Cons

Literal wage theft. Will not pay for all hours of work. Will make you drive 20 hours straight doing recoveries with no break. If you express concerns about safety; they will retaliate against you.

We are able to recruit Recovery Technicians from many different avenues as our training program can educate anyone. We believe this is a benefit to many entering the surgical or healthcare fields. The company makes it a priority to adhere to all local and federal requirements, including pay practices and OSHA laws. Retaliation of any form is not condoned whatsoever. Even if you are no longer at the company, the HR Team would still be open to hearing more about your experience and implementing feedback.
